What is MoodSurfing? It is the notion that moods are perfectly natural – sometimes they can be wild, like the surf, but often what determines our experience of moods is how we approach them. Do we actively try to “ride” them, do we panic and hope we don’t get swamped by them, or do we seek out the extremes well before we are able to handle them?

This site is devoted to those who want to find healthy and creative ways of incorporating mood into our lives.

Those of us working on the site are clinicians with a special interest in moods or people who themselves are wrestling with the challenges of living creatively with moods. .

I would love to see dual diagnosis covered as one of the topics.

Thank you very much for this suggestion. Do you have some particular questions that you would like to have addressed? I would be more than happy to come up with some additional content based on a set of questions.
