Sometimes it is simple ideas that resonate the most powerfully with our psyches. This week I have found myself, again and again, thinking about the fairly simple but quite elegantly described ideas in the book Hard Wiring Happiness.
I should probably admit that I’ve only gotten about half way through the book, but even so, it has had quite an impact on my thinking and on my work with people this week.
Those of you who’ve been reading this blog for a while have seen almost all of the ideas in this book at various points referenced on posts of mine that are inspired by posts from the author of the book, Rick Hanson.
The ideas here are not new and they’re not complex, but I find myself really wanting to recommend that you buy the book anyway. It is a satisfying read, and I think there’s a good chance that it will influence your week and perhaps your month in some subtle but significant ways.
I’m going to [amazon_link id=”B00CCPIIZK” target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]add some links to the Amazon website where you can buy either the Kindle or the book version.[/amazon_link]
And if you do buy it and read it, let me know what you think.
